Been here a few times, usually on point... Today, extra burnt. UPDATE: I'm in love again. Went again and EVERYTHING was great! Tried the Hash brown with the toppings on it and had me doing this number 🤌🤌🤌 Sammich was also on point!

Wow! First fresh tasty bagel in awhile. Now this is how a bagel should taste! Shug’s, bagel was fresh and clearly baked that morning I ordered it. The bagel skin was thin yet crisp when I took a bite, the inside was soft and not doughy. The bagel size was good enuff • the size was also enuff to hold all the goodies inside, delicious and filling. Our group ordered 6 different types of bagels and ALL of them was deliciously awesome. Natalie’s Orange Juice was super delicious too!! Thank You 😊

I’d been hearing about this place forever, so my husband and I finally made the 45 minute trek—and it was worth every mile!!! MY #1 TIP: ORDER AHEAD ONLINE!!!! We placed our order the night before and showed up, grabbed our order from the cashier, and left. There were about 20 people waiting for their orders, and another 20 in the line waiting to order. It was the best choice we made. We ate our amazing sandwiches in the car. Ordered both a spicy and regular shug sandwich, and an everything bagel with strawberry cream cheese…all exceeded our expectations. Just the perfect amount of bacon and avocado too. Even the coffee was great! So sad we live so far, but if we’re ever driving by, we will 100% be stopping here again. It lived up to the hype!!!

I took part in an experiment comparing the seven most popular bagel spots in Dallas. This was a blind study, where the 10 participants rated each bagel based on flavor, texture and general freshness. Shug's got 2nd but Shug's was my favorite bagel. Honorable mentions go to Starship, Sclafani and Lubbies.

I have such an addiction to this place. I think I might have ordered it 3 times this week and I’m not ashamed. Now I’ve had bagel sandwiches before, and the bagel either is too thick and crispy or too thin, or not really giving flavor. But these bagels are PERFECT!!! They also put the perfect amount of cream cheese, the other cheeses are amazing. And don’t even get me started on the freaking hash browns…they are so perfectly crisp!! The spicy shug is top tier but you can’t go wrong w/customizing. Service is always so friendly and wait time has never been bad even when they’re packed. Also the best iced coffee ever!!! Love love love <3
